This report provides an overview of recent trends in the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism, and related extremism fuelling racism, xenophobia, and related intolerance. Its issue in focus is the recruitment of young people by neo-Nazi and other extremist hate groups, compiling examples of measures taken by states, civil society, and other actors in response to recruitment strategies. The report recalls the governing principles of racial equality and non-discrimination as they apply to youth recruitment and offers recommendations for state action.
